Aim of NCC
 
To Develop qualities of character, courage,comradeship,discipline,leadership,secular outlook,spirit of adventure,sportsmanship and ideals of self less service among the youth to make them useful citizens.
 
NCC was introduced in the Institute in the year 2006. There is an annual intake of 53 cadets in the Institute under the guidance of our esteemed Foreman Instructor Sh. Jaibir Dhull. Our cadets have attended three camps viz.
  1. Annual Training Camp
  2. National Integration Camp
  3. Army Attachment  camp
About 9 college teams participate in these camps. In the last camp held at Hisar Cantonment from 18 March to 29 March, 2009, volley ball team of the our cadets stood first. In the last ATC camp, cadets of our institute stood first in firing competition and cross – country competition. Our cadets celebrate ‘Van Mahotsav’ every year and Plants Trees in the Institute. The cadets also took part in ‘Blood Donation camp’ on NCC day and donated their blood.
 
For the first time in Indian history, NCC cadets performed elections duty in 15th lok sabha Elections. 20 cadets from our Institute were deputed on election duty. 30 cadets have been awarded NCC ‘C’ certificates up to 2009.
 
Activities performed during 2011-12 :-
 
  • Enrollment of new cadets for first year
  • Forty Parades were held during this year with the help of NCC officials.
  • Participation in Blood Donation Camps.
  • Participation in Pre-Republic Parade.
  • Annual Training camp from 03-02-2012 to 12012-2012 at Govt. College, Bhattu Kalan (Fatehabad)
  • Plantation of Tree in Institutional Campus.
  • Go-green Activities during the year.
  • Participation in rally regarding Disaster Management organized by NCC centre, CCSHAU, Hisar.

  1. Arif Ali, Comp. Engg. first year got Silver Medal in Firing in ATC at Govt. College Bhattu Kalan (Fatehabad).
